Photo Frames

Okay...I did this project the hard way. It was one of those"use what I have" but a can of spray paint would have been a lot easier.

I have had a small stack of natural colored picture frames in my "to do projects" stack for some time now & I finally got to them! I'm very happy with the out come.

I sanded them all down with a 220 grit to not score the wood but get any varnish off so that my paint would adhere to the wood. The higher the number on the sand paper the softer the grit.

I then painted them black to go with my 2 hanging large picture frames. To seal them & give them a slight shine, finish them off with "Mod Podge" (matte finish). It's milky when you put it on but dries clear.

How does your garden grow?

"Flat Leaf Parsley" is starting to grow like a weed! I've been clipping off of it about 2-3 times a week now & the more I clip the more parsley I get. It is now about twice this size. I'm waiting on any more cold snaps before I start my spring garden. I have BIG plans but a small space. We'll see how it comes out.

As for my Tomatoes we have been enjoying "just" enough. Tomato & Cucumber salad, BLT's, & I can add them to some of our dinners. It has been WONDERFUL!
